Hi Nice to meet you!
We are Monica and Stefano, two Italian designers now living in Barcelona. In Autumn 2017 we worked together, we shared the same 32mq flat, the passion for toast bread, old movies and old style graphics. This combination led us to know ABLO, a 70’s film producer. Mesmerized by his story, we decided to tell it to the world. We worked hard to research the story of the founders, the color process and the past advertising Campaigns.
Then we got the Brand and its Heritage. Now we are glad to introduce ABLO brand: an original case of creativity.

Why “X” heritage?
Because this heritage was hidden like a treasure chest, but also because of Ablo’s connection to the X-rated world: that amazing alchemy of erotica and grotesque that characterized those sometimes forgotten B-movies that inspired some of the most creative experimenting in the 1960s and 1970s, and whose influence is still visible in our design and culture nowadays.
This is a homage to those who, by creating films and color processing like Colormas, were ahead of their time with their innovative vision of color and quality, so much so that they were misunderstood.
